This new year I took my resolution to continue my writings in my blog, I started this blog to keep all my thoughts in words, never thought that so many people would read my blog regularly. More and more I experience life, more clarity I got on different aspects of life. I would share the same to the world through my words, because somewhere someone would definitely get influenced. My next blog would be about my failure while starting a school "All IZZ Well" in Hyderabad.
My sincere thanks to all the friends who had given their valuable comments, Each good word of yours about my blog motivated me to get into action to share my experiences. Thank you once again.

Celebrated Gandhigiri on July 19th
This birthday is one of the finest bithday that I had ever celebrated
I had taken up few activities and able to execute them successfully,
I used the word gandhigiri, because the activities that I had taken up
brought smiles on some faces and happiness in many hearts.
Activity 1: Just like every year, this year too I had planted a small
tree plant at our owners backyard. My owners are Happy
Activity 2: My visually challenged friend Amit Kumar from Delhi, is
suffering from a wound, which requires small surgery to
get it cured, Recently he left his job, to prepare for
government job, So thinking of his financial condition
he is postponing his surgery and bearing the pain. So
I had send some money for his surgery, He felt very
Happy for my help.
Activity 3: I took new dress and new pair of sandels for my adopted
younger brother Sai for his birthday, which he would be
celebrating on Aug 18 (Sai is orphan kid and he is HIV
positive, Last year Birthday I adopted Sai, everymonth
I sponser his boarding, lodging and educationalexpenses
and everyday we talk to each other.
Activity 4: In the evening I went to Sivananda Asramam in Kukatpally
Hyderabad (It is a home for children of HIV Positive
children of parents having Leporsy) I took
some note books and some snacks with me, They sung bday
song for me and gifted me a friendship band and few
greeting cards prepared by them. After that I made the
children laugh by asking few funny questions, At the
end there was big clap by all the children, clapping in
groups always makes children happy.
Personally I had done few things for myself and I think they are worth
sharing.
1) Morning I went to temple and just thanked GOD, for giving me another
birthday to celebrate, A whole hearted thanks.
2) Started Listening to Ramayanam recited by sri Chaganti Koteswara Rao,
Ramayanam is not a Religious epic, but it is a spiritual knowledge
A story of a king called Ram, who teaches us how to lead a life.
3) For the first time in my life I did somthing with lot of courage and
boldness, First time I had been Expressive and able to speak up my heart.
This one thing made my birthday really special and brought lot of
happiness to me.
Every Year I share about my birthday celebrations, to as many people as possible,
Not for saying that I had done great things but for showing how a common
man like u and me can celebrate our birthdays in a meaningful day. I am really
sorry if I had hurted anybody by telling about my activities (There are
people who strongly believe that service done shud not be talked about), But
what to do every year I get calls from friends and somtimes even from strangers
saying that after reading my mail that they too started doing good things on
their birthdays and also on their loved one s birthdays.

Voice of Common Man
Recently I went to a nearby temple early in the morning,
As Hindus consider that day as very auspicious day and
visiting temple on that day is considered as very good.
So when I reached there, lot of people are already waiting
outside the temple in the quee, suddenly when the temple
volunteers went inside the temple to control the mob inside
the temple, they closed the gates of the temple, to clear the
devotees who are already in the temple, mob outside the temple
blocked the main entrance door of the temple. As the devotees
inside temple could not go out from the main entrance door,
they opted a narrow path where electric wires are lying of
the ground, people inside the temple are carefully comming
out slowly from this narrow lane, People ouside the temple
who thought that they are getting late to their offices,
started getting into the temple from the path where the
people comming out. Everybody identified the risk of going
in that path but still they are going ahead into the temple.
Slowly more and more people started opting the
same path, As there are no volunteers to stop the people in
choosing that wrong path, all the people were risking their
own lives. I was thinking some one need to stop them from
going that way, then it striked me why someone why not me.
I stood in front of that path stopping people getting into
that temple by that way, Some questioned me who am I to stop
them, Some criticized me of doing a devil's job by not
allowing them into the temple, But I started explaing
what was the possible risk if mor and more people choose
that path. Many who got convinced about what I am saying
joined hands with me and we formed a chain blocking that
wrong path to enter into the temple. A police personel
who came temple along with his family appreciated our
effort. Later everything got normal.
At times we may not be a authorized people to do
some task, but to prevent somthing bad happening and for
larger good of the peole, we can take some responsibilities
on our shoulders and act to a role that is required at that
instance.

Diversity in Unity
We feel proud when we hear that this nation(India) is a
Unity in Diversity. But today politicians are doing their
best to find out the diversity in that unity, They are
polorizing people on the basis of Region,Religion, language,
caste, creed and even the accent of the language used and to
a great extent they are becomming successful, also becomming
heros in that polorized group. People are started listing out
few uncommon things with others, leaving apart a big list of
Common things that they share together. Across Globe when people
are talking about rubbing away borders(European Unoion) we are
talking about drawing more lines, this is a bad sign. Yes there
are sentiments and we have to respect them, also there
are problems and we to find a solution to them but not
creating other big problem.
No leader is going to change the things and no government can do
everything. It is the responsibility of every citizen to findout
ways to reach the core problems and find a solution for that.
Every citizen should become a leader and they have to
lead by example and so not allowing our cunning politicians to
involve in divisive politics by playing with the sentiments of
the people. Let's save this nation. JaiHind.

Letters of Hope
One month back, I took tarak along with me for some
work of mine. After completion of the work while re
turning back, we visited his sisters house which is
on the way. Actually she is not his sibling nor his
cousin, but a few letters build that relationship.
The story began when Tarak was in college,
One day he was travelling in train along with his
friends, in the same train she was travelling, One
of the Tarak's friend srinivas started talking with
her. A NRI girl from UK who came to India after sudden
dismise of her parents by discontinuing her education.
After comming to India her own relatives rejected her.
All these events led to a feeling of lonliness, which
later turned to depression, She wanted somebody
to share her fellings of greif and srinivas provided
that listening ear.
After hearing this touching story of her from srinivas,
Tarak started writing letters to her hostel where she was living
alone. This continued for few years, One day when Tarak
met her for the first time after years he was surprised
to hear that the letters he wrote saved her life. Because
of the depression she often used to get a feeling of
commiting suside, at that moment she used to read the letters
of tarak again and again which gave her lot of strength and
confidence and later she even joined a call center and started
earning for herself making a step forward for a better future.
I felt very happy listening this story from Tarak and I
could not able to resist myself appreciating tarak for this
noble act, realized the power of good words which can bring
hope and can even save lives. I too decided to write letters
to people whom I come across who are depressed and sad and
who requires some hope to look at the future. Thank you
tarak for this wonderful message.

Being Good and Doing Good
Many come with the argument that if one is good then that
itself is the greatest contribution to the society, But
the fact is our good is of no use when it cannot help
someone in need, cannot give hope to someone who is
depressed, cannot bring smile to someone who is sad.
If someone is good then he/she is the one who could do
some good to the society and this is the time for action.
Some say that "I would start doing somthing to society
when I.........." But that time would never come until
we commit to do somthing to society from today. Yes
everybody is busy and running fast for their careers and
ambitions in their life, but at the same time we had that
responsibility on our shoulders to give our hand to those
who could not move forward. One need not be a Bill Gates
or Naraya moorthy or any other celebrity to do this and
one should remember that everybody cannot be a Bill Gates.
Every common man can do his bit by doing what ever he can.
Living and let living is the true meaning of life.
Some Tips: This is how I started doing somthing in small
ways to the society.
1) When somthing good happens in my life
like getting job, achieving somthing, good things happening
to my family memebers, for birthdays, annivarsaries etc, I
made it a point to do some good work for others without
expecting anything in return, As all the good things bring
happiness in my life, I decided to share that happiness with
as many people as possible.
2)I sacrifice small small comforts of mine and save that money,
like travelling in AC for long journeys, giving grand parties
for small achievements, Watching lot of movies in Malls. All
these are really small things but I feel good sacrifising these
small things because I use that money for somthing really useful.
3)Creating awareness about social issues in my own world, like
for eg. keeping a tag "Stop Child Labour" at the end of every email
I send, because many times people around may not recognize some
issues as problems that need to tackled.
No matter who we are or where we are, still there would be people
around us, who are desperately waiting for our help and it is our
duty to reach them.

The story of Govind
After nearly one year later I am publishing a post in my blog,
because something touched my heart so deeply that I felt worth
sharing. Recently I organized a picnic to some of the orphan
kids in an orphanage, who were feeling lonely during the dussera
vacation. While we are returning from the picnic, I sat with babu
(a physically challenged boy who is eldestamong all the kids) and
asking about all the other kids, then I came toknow this story of
Govind.
10 years back when govind was just months old baby,
he was found in a public dustbin to a social worker, Govind was in
that dustbin without food and water for 3 days and this damaged
his brain cells to a great extent. Today he is 10 year old
physically challenged boy with both his hands and legs crippled,
still he was going to school and pursuing his education, but slowly
things became worse to govind, slowly he started loosing his sight
and becoming blind. When doctor was consulted, he said that slowly
each part of the govind s body would stop working and then he would
die, because of the damaged brain cells.
Babu said that one day govind came to him and
expressed that he no longer wants to live and want to die as soon
as possible. Listening to those words from babu, I felt really
touched deep down in my heart,Also I felt very bad that a ten
year old boy who saw nothing in his life other than grief and
grim is waiting for his death to come. Immediately I felt like
doing something to save his life, but it is nearly impossible,
all that we can do is,give him some sweet moments in life, some
happier times to cherish and most importantly some good words
of hope. There are many govind s out there in this society
and it is our duty to reach them and bring HOPE in their lives.

I Do not waste Food Anymore....
Recently I experienced something that made me to take
a strong decision of not to waste food. Now I want to
share the same experience in this post. I go to school
in the weekends to teach children (Teach India). All
these children are from nearby slum areas whose parents
are poor. That day I am teaching UKG class about good
habits, In order to make the class interactive I started
asking questions to the children, So one after other I am
asking the question "Weather they had their breakfast or
not". A seven year old who was very active and interactive
in the class said she hadn't done. When I asked the question
why? she was silent and not even looking at my eyes. Then I
saw her eyes, they were filled with tears, Actually she was
not crying but she was feeling hungry but she is not willing
to express that food is not available at her home in the morning.
So she is waiting for the lunch that would be provided in the
school. The same kind of tears I saw in a hungry begging boy
whom we provided food instead of money. Then I realized that
only hungry people knows the value of food.
Nobody has the right to waste the food when so many people go to
sleep with empty stomach.

When we acted like responsible Citizens
This is an incident that took place few months back when me and Raghu are comming back to Gurgaon from Delhi after attending a friends party. Time was aroung 11 pm and we were on the Highway on my bike. Just before entering the gurgaon we saw few people gathering on the side lane road, after nearing that place we saw 3 people lying on the road with blood along with their bike. A woman standing in that group was saying that a car hit them and run away and that happenened just 20 minutes back. I am shocked to know that these 3 men were lying on the road for 20 minutes without any help. Few seconds i too felt hesitent to go near to them but then a thought came to my mind "What if these three persons are my friends who met with an accident and lying on the road then what would I expect from the genenal public. How i wish them to react". I too reacted in the same way . Even I do not know what I should do but still I took the initiative and moved forward towards those lying on the road. I checked their breathing and all the three where alive. I got water from the nearby place and poured it into their mouth. As they are unconsious they are not able to swallow the water , then someone from the group said to close their nose and pour the water, Some more people joined me to help me and I did the same soon those 3 people became consiuos. I tried to stop some of the vehicles to carry these people to the nearby hospital but none of them stopped their vechicle. More and More people gathered there and one of the person called the highway police and soon they arrived the spot and arranged some vehicles, we carried them into the vehicles and soon the vehicles left the place. Soon we too left the place with a great feeling that we acted with some responsibility. A great feeling which made us feel proud about ourselves.

Blood donation on the independence day
Hi Friends I am sharing a mail conversation that happened
in our college batch mets yahoo group.
hi vinay,
Good to c u r mail and Thank you for sending sending such
an informative mail to the group. Actually few days back i too
thought of writing the same kind of mail to educate about
blood donation and it's importance. I just want to add a real
story that happened 3 years back in banglore.
There was a software engineer (I do not remember his name)
who had the habbit of donating blood on his birthday and he
was doing that regularly every year for many years. One day
he met with an accident and got admitted in a hospital by then
he lost lot of blood but still he was alive when he reached
the hospital, but at the hospital there was no blood available
for his treatment. hospital authorities tried their best , but could
not get the blood on time and so that software engineer lost his
life. After knowing what happened to their friend, His friends
were virtually shocked because a person who donates his
blood for others died because of unavailability of blood, They
immediately started a website as a tribute to their friend which
would share the availability of blood in different blood banks
and also shares the urgent requirement in different hospitals.
His friends had only one motto in their mind that no person
should die because of unavailability of blood.
I saw this story in a news channel and i am moved by that
story. I realized that the reason for his death is not the accident
but the callous attitude of public, having this much population
in this country but still people die because of lack of blood is a
shame to the country itself, From then on I started donating
blood voluntarily and fulfilling my duty as the citizen of the country
From 2005 to till date I donated 7-8 times by maintaining sufficient
gap in between and I am healthy today. My blood group is O+ a
common blood group but it would have good requirement because
maximum people would have this blood group. People having
rare blood groups should not donate regularly but should
register themselves with the blood banks (not all but only
well known and reputed blood banks like Indian Red Cross etc)
because they would call u when ever there is an urgent requirement.
While donating blood in blood banks I saw how desperate people
would be to get some blood to save their dear one's. There are
some diseases, which requires the patients to continuously change their
blood at regular intervals of time. So we can say that there is huge
requirement for blood as such, in India and voluntary blood donation
saves many lives.
Kosamerupu : I even took a snap with Megastar Chiranjeevi when I
donated blood in Chiranjeevi Charitable Trust in Hyderabad :)
Thanks and Regards
Maddy

Blood donation on the independence day
Guyz,
Out of the 8.5 million units of blood that is required in a year in India ,
only 5.5 million units is actually available.
*We can save life by Donating BLOOD !!! It's a small way of contributing to
the society :)*
We can make it a tradition to donate blood every year on the eve of
Independence Day !!!
You might have heard that blood donation makes you weak or that it increases
the risk of contracting HIV/AIDS or other diseases. Here are some facts
about blood donation:
- Donating blood does not make you weak.
- When you donate one unit of blood it equals 350 to 450 ml which is five
to six ltr of blood. It is however, replenished in 24 hours.
- Blood donation does not put you at risk of HIV/AIDS if you make sure
you use sterile disposable equipment.
- It reduces the risk of heart attack.

and also shares the urgent requirement in different hospitals.

Giving Back to Society
This message is a reply to my friend that I had mailed him when he asked me to
take up my activities on regular basis...
I started these activities when I am in the final year of Btech, There is a deaf and dumb school adjacent to our college, it is run by TTD and it has children from different parts of telengana region. I visited that place with some chocolates when my brother got job. From then on I started doing small small activities now and
then that too silently because I felt shy and odd to discuss these things, because internally i had the feeling that I am doing some charity. But once when I realized that it my duty to give back to society in the best possible way. I started doing things on regular basis. Every week i plan some activity and do it. I felt that my
reach is limited and so I became Loud in saying what ever I am doing because when I am Loud I started hearing the echo from different quarters. People from different places who had this intrest in giving back to society started calling me and asking
me to guide them. In my office itself there are some of my colleagues asking me to involve them too in my activities. My activities are like a drop in a ocean, But still it is the start and now I am young and energetic and so I can involve in many different activities. In this process I came across criticism from some people and also there are instances when people made fun of me but still I am moving ahead because I am convinced that whatever I am doing is right. I got the support and encouragement from majority of people. If a few words in a quote can influence my thinking then I think few actions of mine would definitely have an impact on thinking of some people.

This is how I celebrated 27th BirthDay
On July 19 th 2008 I celebrated my 27th Birthday. I planned it carefully and executed it perfectly, I had taken
up certain activities and made this B'day very special in my Life. I am sharing my activities.
Activity 1 : I had presented new clothes to our cook, who is working for us for the past one year, Gifts to people who are working for us sincerely, would definitely make them happy. He was Happy.
Activity 2 : There is a Hanuman Temple near to my House, where a group of working young people (Esp Software Engineers)started food distribution program (Bhandar) on Tesday and Thrusday nights for the poor people(riksha wallah's, maids and other people doing petty jobs in shops etc). I too joined as sevak in that group and on my B'day I contributed some money for the same.
Activity 3: Planted a mango tree plant in front of our House. During my school days one of my teacher said "If everybody plants a tree plant on their B'day's it would be sufficient to make this entire area green" I still remember it but it took me 27 years to Implement the same but I am sure that I would continue it in the
future too.
Activity 4: I am also associated with one of the Blind Hostel in Delhi which runs on the public donations itself, I donated some amount to dinner for one day for all the visually challenged people in the Hostel. Also I had one Visually challenged friend in the Hostel whose name is Amit (Pg in English literature Delhi University, BED,MED )and presently doing his PHD had his tape recorder (Which he uses for his study
by listening to the lessons which were recorded) got repaired and it is hindering his study, I got it repaired and gifted it to him. He was really happy.
Activity 5: In the evening I took a cake, some snacks and cool drinks to an Orphanage( for mentally and Phisically challenged children) . I cut the cake when these children sang the Birth Day song to me. After we took snacks and cakes , I sang with them, danced with them, played with them, listened to all that they are trying to say to me. At the end when I am trying to leave that place these children hugged me and said not to go and asked me when I would come again to meet them. All the children enjoyed the Bday party to a great extent and myself at the top of the world by looking happiness in their faces.
Activity 6: On my personel front I had taken a resolution to work on two of my weakness which I identified that exists in me and decided to check them by my next Birthday on how far I was able to overcome my weaknesses.
One thing that I could not do on this B'day is donating Blood which I generally do on my Bday because 3 months back itself I had done voluntary blood donation.
Iam sharing all this, Not for any appreciate and not that I feel that I had done a great thing but instead I feel that I had done the right thing. One Special day that comes every year regularly in everyone's life is one's birthday, If we are
able to make it really special with some purposeful deeds then that birth day would become memorable in our life,
Note: Please do not donate money to Beggars in the name of charity, this is just encouraging people to take up Begging as the Profession.

Return of Maddy
After more than a year i am publishing a post in this blog. I took some time to stream line all my activities before telling to others that they too can do all these small activities. I am able to do them regularly and all that it requires is to take some time out of our busy life and it can be done. Doing something selflessly without expecting anything in return gives a higher levels of satisfaction and happiness which cannot be compensated with any other material things in this world.

NEW YEAR CELEBRATIONS
Today i wud like to share how i along with 3 of my friends celebrated our new year.we had nt celebrated in a booze party or a dance party but still it is our best new year celebrations. This is what we did on that day.
Me and my friends(all software Engineers) went to a Orphange for mentally and physically challenged people,There we came to know that school going children are having problem with the water bottles,(as these children r carrying pet bottles) .for other children who attend special schools and the children who stay in the orphanage itself we buyed some toys. Then we took a birthday cake, candles, choclates, biscuits and baloons. We placed the cake in between all the children ,entire place we filled with baloons and then asked all the children to blow out all the candles on the cake at once.then i took each childs name aked them to cut the cake and asked other children to clap for her,in this way we gave a chance for each child to cut the cake. After that we distributed waterbottles and toys according to their ages.At the end choclates biscuits and cakes were distrubuted to the children.Though our activity seams like very small one but its a great event for those children. All the children were thrilled and surprised for what we r doing,They really enjoyed the party that we had given to them.while iam leaving that place i cud find the pleasing smiles on all their faces.
By January 1st 2007 my Smile Please organisation completed one year,In the last one year i did many activites and many more planned for this year.Even the Annual Celebrations were celebrated by bringing smiles on the childrens faces.

Never Complain about life
In a class room we can find people of differnent abilities .some wud be a toppers, some average performers and some weak students. In the same way even in the gods creations there will be people of different abilities ,all we have to do is accept them.
I just want to describe u what happened last sunday. The before sunday i went to a blind youth hostel in New Delhi by taking some sweets. There i got acquinted with a visually challenged person Mr Amit Kumar a 31 year from bihar doing his PHD in English and working as a teacher in a private school. After our first meeting we took each other numbers.after 4 days i called him once again. The call which he is least expecting bcoz he says that people generally take his number for formality sake.Actually he wants some help which requires some knowledge in english for buying a guide for a competetive exams(he already cleared an exam(prelims) for Jr lecturer post of Delhi Govt and so wants to clear mains.he just wants persons to c the content weather it is matching with the syllabus. So last sunday i went to meet him.As that day it is world disabled day,he went to perform a show.after 2 hours of my arrival he came and i had taken lunch along with him.
we disscused many issues and i asked many questions.he was a matured person and in each sentance i saw lot of life's philosophy that he learned through struggle and hardships.A topper upto 12 th standard had to face problem after going to college.where it was difficult to get books in braile and so has to depend upon a reader who wud record the cassettes and give to him.At the same time the schorship that he is getting upto then got stopped and so he has to take up some part time job(taking tutions for children) to meet his financial needs.this effected his education .after few years he had cleared a test for post graduation in english but could not join bcoz of financial constraints. He worked for few years and then joined for pg program and now continuing his phd.he is an ambitious person who wants to be independent and a firm believer in destination.
these r the few things he said
"I never complain abt anything and i accept what i got and i believe that i wud get what iam destined to get but i wud not stop my struggle and sit ideally doubting my abilities.i wud move ahead and face all the hardships that come my way bcoz they wud make me much more stronger"
later he took his phone book and asked me read a number that he wants to call,i said give the phone to me i wud type the numbers but he refused to give his phone saying that "let me do my things by myself,i dont want to depend on others for the things that i can do".
After that we went for buying the book,he got habituated of getting in and getting out of running busses bcoz no bus stops exactly in the bus stops and no bus waits till all the passengers gets in.Looking at which i got scared and asked him."R u not risking u r life ?"This is what he said then "Yes it can be a risk but this risk i had to take to move forward in life"
These r the few reactions that i saw from the general public while i spend time with him
1.some people tried to show too much sympathy and tried to help him out in his daily activities etc .which he used to refuse .
2. There r some people who saw him as an untouchable
3. There r even some people who laughed at him showing their ugly teeth.
4. The good thing that i had seen is.while iam in their institution.i saw people cmg their bringing something or other that wud help them.More over that institution is run by the donations given by the donars itself.Hats off to Delhites.
After spending some time with him i came to realize that they r not disabled persons. They r more challenged persons. They do not require our Sympathy nor they expect us to bear their complete burden. All they reqire is a supporting hand and an understanding heart,so that they can stand on their feet and live an independent life.Currently my friend stays in a room near to his school all alone,he is seriously preparing for exam where he has to face compitetion from sighted people,he wants to get an government job which can give him security .so that he can get married and settle down.
so never call anybody as a disabled person. call them just as challenged person
Never complain about life just move forward positively
Thanks and Regards

Aids spreads mainly by 3 ways 1.unsafe sex 2.blood transfusion or improper needle use(of thats aids patient's) 3.Aids patient giving birth to child Always be careful and cautious bcoz "Prevention is better than Cure".Awareness is the only weapon through which we can start our battle againt Aids.Come join me in this fight against Aids to eradicate Aids from this world .

The Quotation that changed my life
Today i would share an instance which had great influence in my life. After my graduation there was a stage in my life where i had been a complete failure,The risk that i had taken did not gave me desired results, all my efforts turned out to be futile.Frustration started ,worry abt the future started, started comparing myself with others who r successfull.inferiority started creaping into my mind.when all the negatives started happening in my life ,i started cursing God saying he is very unkind towards me.With all the failures one after another i lost my self esteem i lost respect that i give to myself.I felt that iam fit for nothing, there is no use me being alive. That was my pessimistic mindset at that time.
But one day everything changed .that day i went to library and took a kids book called "Wisdom" .that book consists of quotations for kids .in that one quotation i read more than 20 times and here is that quotation: "I always used to feel bad about my torn shoes until i saw someone without legs" .This is a simple one line quotation.but if we think deep there would be lot of information for all of those who would be subjected to selfpity. In my next blog i would share how much influence that single line had in my thinking process and subsequently in my life...

Be Captalist at mind but Communist at heart
Yesterday i donated blood at Indian RedCross society New Delhi.I did this becoz one of our family dream of having a own house is fulfilled recently. This is a good thing happened to us. so i did one good thing to the society.we generally pray god for good things to happen to us(fulfilling our dreams) but once it happens we forget god by saying thanks to him .instead we have to reciprocate by doing something good to the society.thats how we can really thank god. There are many occassions when we feel good things are happening to us like getting a good job, getting a promotion, recovering soon from the ill health, buying something that is long cherished and so on(for which many of us wait eagarly) but once we got that we celebrate it with our friends by giving a party .if u really feel that u r happy with what u got .u should spend atleast 1/10 th of the money that u spend on parties for the people whom you never met and from whom you can expect nothing in return but who are desperately in need of help.In this captalist world we are first bothored about us .thats true.but atleast second position should be given to the society.Even after 59 years of independance India has 30 crore of its population is Below poverty line earning less than 1 dollar per day.We should not expect government alone should take the reponsibility but instead every citizen should share the responsibility.its not the charity we are doing but its duty.whatever small help u can do .you have to do .It may not change the entire society but it can change some lives.Iam an ordinary person of this country and iam able to do all these things and so i others too can do all these things.Even always we think as captalist abt our career ,abt our growth ,abt our monetory and physical benifits and so on.we should sometimes think as a communist abt the society.

My Special Diwali
This Diwali is very special in my life.Till date i celebrated diwali either with my family or friends but this year i celebrated Diwali with some one who are very special. This diwali i(along with my friend) went to a church which is running a home for both phically and mentally challenged children .we took the permission from the sister of the church and took some crakers and some sweets to the children. We reached the place at 7.00 pm at that time all the surrounding places were full of lights except this chruch was in dark and all the children were inside the church.First we placed all candles around the churh and made the place clourful. Then children came out of the church ,by just seeing the lights itself children were exited, when we started burning crackers there were no bounds to their happiness.they just danced clapped and enjoyed a lot that event. After that we distributd sweets and choclates. As we are abt to leave the place all the children hugged us and asked us not to leave the place. At that instance i felt that pure love from those children.Even the father and sisters of the church appreciated our work because they saw children enjoying the event to a great extent. This may be memorable day to those children,at the sametime it became a very special day in my life

GandhiGiri in Practice
by that small everdy day example i want to show how we can bring change with out any doing anything extra but just doing what is right. Here i followed two gandhian principles
1. Admitting my mistake sincerely
2. Giving respect to my cook .(Apun se chote admi ke saath Apun ka behaviour acha hona chahiye "Lage Raho..."dialog)
Generally i saw people changing their behaviour depending on the person they are dealing with ,They show too much obidience for people higher than them and behave too rudely with the people who are below him(below can be economically, socially, professionally etc).this is not a good practice.Gandhi says to give same respect to the person who do menial jobs as that respect u give to the men in power.
i started following this principle long back when i am in my college
i used to treat my juniors equally as i treat my seniors and batchmets. Now at office also i behave equally well with the freshers and juniors ie with compassion and understandingly.
In the present scenario gandhigiri is not only behaving well with the persons who tries to do bad to u or behaves rude to u but also doing good to others who do nothing to u,who are nothing to u ,with whom u can expect nothing in return, this way of doing good is called as UnConditional Love,I would write in detail abt this topic in my next posting...............
